An established electrical engineering business is looking for an Electrician with LV/HV experience to join its engineering and operations team. This is an opportunity for a hands-on electrical fitter with experience in low voltage (LV) and/or high voltage (HV) electrical distribution equipment. You''ll be involved in installing, assembling, maintaining and refurbishing electrical equipment across a range of infrastructure and engineering projects. The role would suit an experienced Electrician, Electrical Fitter, HV Fitter, Switchgear Fitter or Electrical Installation Engineer with practical experience of switchgear, transformers, substations, cable systems or electrical distribution equipment. Candidates with strong LV experience who are looking to develop their HV skills may also be considered, depending on their experience and the requirements of the project. Duties Install, assemble, maintain and refurbish LV/HV switchgear, distribution boards, transformers, substations, control panels and associated electrical equipment. Carry out cable installation, dressing, glanding, termination, jointing and connection work in accordance with technical drawings and specifications.
