A well-established London construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. The successful Quantity Surveyor will work across Residential Property, Healthcare, Education and Public Sector projects for a diverse mix of prestigious clients.The Quantity Surveyor''s RoleThe Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of projects across both pre- and post-contract stages, supporting clients from initial feasibility and cost planning through procurement, construction and final account.Working closely with senior members of the team, the Quantity Surveyor will be trusted to manage client relationships, provide clear commercial advice and maintain control of project costs throughout delivery.This is also a role for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who wants to contribute beyond day-to-day project work. The Quantity Surveyor will have the opportunity to support new client relationships, strengthen existing accounts and play a visible part in the continued growth of the consultancy.The Quantity SurveyorDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similarStrong UK PQS / consultancy experienceGood pre- and post-contract knowledgeResidential, Healthcare, Education or Public Sector experienceConfident with cost planning and tenderingExperience with valuations and final accountsGood knowledge of JCT contractsMRICS or working towards chartershipStrong client-facing communication skillsCommercially aware and well organisedComfortable managing projects ..... full job details .....
