Credit Risk Modelling andamp; Portfolio Analysis (ESG Focus)- Associate

I am working with a well-known international bank in London, and they''re looking for a Credit Modelling andamp; ESG Risk Associate to join their team. You will work on credit portfolio management across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with a special focus on ESG risk.

In this role, you''ll be responsible for stress testing the bank''s EMEA corporate investment banking portfolio, including ESG risk factors. You''ll need to keep up with rules and changes about ESG, especially climate and environmental risks, using research and analysis to create useful reports and updates. You''ll also handle the production of regular and one-off reports about stress testing, ESG, and other portfolio details, making sure they''re accurate and on time. The job involves helping set up ESG risk management metrics and supporting tasks like improving the credit risk stress testing framework with financial modelling.

The right candidate should ideally have around 3 to 7 years of experience in credit risk management in financial services, ideally from a corporate bank. Experience with stress testing in credit risk is a must. You''ll need good knowledge of banking concepts and risk management rules, like EBA guidelines or SS3/19, and be skilled in financial modelling with Excel and VBA-knowing R or Python is a bonus. It''s helpful if you understand ESG risk principles, but it''s not required if your credit risk skills are strong.
