Group Health and Safety Manager - Manufacturing - StaffordshireBrooklyn Recruitment are currently working with a manufacturer of stainless steel and aluminium food, beverage and pharmaceutical products. This company are based in the Burntwood area of Staffordshire, close to Lichfield, Cannock and Walsall. They are looking for a Group Health and Safety Manager / Group Health and Safety Manager to join their team. You will be based form the head office but developing strategies and policies to roll out across all of the sites. The other sites mainly manufacture stainless steel and aluminium products with some being more technical than others. As Group Health and Safety Manager / Group Health and Safety Manager you will be:Developing and revising Health and Safety policies and procedures.Ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to.Responsible for keeping all Health and Safety records up to date.Undertaking fire risk assessments.Reporting any major incidents and assisting with investigations.Conducting Health and Safety training as required.Undertaking audits.Inducting any new starters to the local sites.Working with managers and department heads with regards to Health and Safety issues.Liaising with accrediting bodies.Other duties as required.As this is a Group Health and Safety Manager / Group Health and Safety Manager although you will be based from the Burntwood site you would be required to occasionally visit the Groups other sites (16 currently).
