Finance Manager

A growing and ambitious professional services business is seeking a commercially minded Finance Manager to join its senior leadership team at an exciting stage of its development.
 
Having more than doubled in size over recent years, the business is continuing its impressive growth trajectory and is now looking for a Finance Manager to help build the financial foundations required to support the next phase of expansion.
 
Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working alongside an experienced fractional CFO, this is a broad and highly visible role offering genuine exposure to strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.
 
 
The Role  
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while providing meaningful commercial insight to support business performance and future growth.
Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs
• Cash flow forecasting and financial planning
• Budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
• VAT, compliance and statutory reporting
• KPI reporting and commercial analysis
• Supporting investment decisions and growth initiatives
• Process improvement and systems development
• Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business

About You  
We''re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who combines strong technical capability with commercial acumen.
You will ideally have:

• Experience producing management accounts independently
• Strong forecasting and financial planning skills
• Excellent Excel and systems capability
• The confidence to challenge, influence and support senior stakeholders
• A proactive, hands-on approach
• The ambition to develop alongside a growing business

Experience within a growing SME environment would be highly advantageous.
