They''re looking for a Design and Development Engineer to join on a permanent basis, due to growth in the company. Design and Development EngineerRole responsibilitiesInvestigate product failures, non-conformances, and performance issues using structured problem-solving methodologies, 8D, RCA, and Fishbone analysis. Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to improve product reliability, safety, and quality.Support production, quality, service, and the customer support teams with technical issue resolution and troubleshooting.Review and maintain existing designs, including 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and BOMs within SolidWorks PDM and ERM/MRP, ensuring accuracy and configuration control.Assess and implement engineering changes (NCR/ECR/ECO), ensuring minimal disruption to production and installed base.Analyse field data, warranty returns, and test results to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Product Management to resolve cross-functional issues.Supp
