Heat Pump Sales Surveyor – Overview

We are working with a rapidly growing Renewable Energy company who are looking for a Heat Pump Sales Surveyor to join the team in the Wiltshire area, focusing on the sale of Heat Pumps to domestic customers. The company currently have 325 customers who have paid a deposit and the majority are already off gas. They need an experienced Sales Executive who can travel round to survey properties and finalise the sales. It is a small geographical area with minimal driving and you will manage your own diary.

Since incorporating in 2020, they have accelerated to operating nationally with 60+ employees and two offices. This role will be focused on leads from the ‘Switch Together’ scheme and they have almost too many leads to handle! They have won the contract for Wiltshire area so you won't be competing against other companies. The council run the scheme and each customer has already paid £150 deposit. 

As well as the existing leads, the announcement of the ‘Warm Home Loans’ scheme will make this even easier, with the government committing to subsidising the interest rates on finance for renewable energy systems – removing the main blocker for a lot of people (the upfront cost).

You will work on a split of 3/4 days on the road and 1/2 days working from home. You will take the initial enquiry, call the customer to qualify the lead and arrange an appointment, then attend site to survey their property. Following this, you will work with their in house design software to complete the heat loss calculations and designs before providing the customer with a quote and closing the sale.

You are paid when the customer pays their deposit so you don’t have to wait until install to earn commission.

Due to the technical nature of the role you must have experience in a plumbing/heating role in either sales, installation, service and or/design of domestic heating and hot water systems.

• Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 (OTE £80,000+)
