Job Title: Project Manager Super Grid Transformers (132kV 400kV)Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years experience delivering complex projects in the energy sector. This role focuses on Super Grid Transformer projects (132kV 400kV), covering design, build, supply, installation, and commissioning. Direct experience with leading transformer manufacturers and delivery for major UK Distribution Network Operators is essential.Key Responsibilities: Lead transformer design, installation, testing, and commissioning projects, prioritizing safety, quality, and timely delivery. Oversee design reviews, securing client/consultant approvals in line with project schedules. Ensure compliance with HSE/CDM regulations and embed robust risk and quality management practices. Ensure Transportation, Installation, and Commissioning RAMS are developed, reviewed, submitted, and accepted. Communicate effectively with internal and external teams in the UK and overseas factories to ensure equipment is manufactured, tested (FAT), and dispatched on schedule. Coordinate with hauliers to manage inland transportation, offloading, skidding, and positioning. Manage subcontractor engagement for installation and commissioning. Manage contracts under NEC3/NEC4 frameworks, including subcontractor agreements, supplier payments, and project documentation.
