Are you a Buyer or Procurement Specialist from construction, joinery, fit-out or another transferable industry, looking for a stable, long-term role where you will be properly supported, trained and developed within a well-established contractor?

On offer is a permanent position with a leading fit-out company operating across the UK and Ireland, where you will play a key part in keeping projects running smoothly by ensuring materials are sourced on time, at the right cost, and to the right standard.

The business has built an outstanding reputation for delivering high-quality fit-outs across retail, hospitality & heritage projects, and they are continuing to grow their project delivery team to support ongoing work.

In this role you will price materials against drawings and budgets, build procurement schedules, raise purchase orders, track deliveries, and liaise daily with Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain programme.

This role would suit a Buyer looking for a secure role within a respected contractor, where you will be trusted with responsibility, supported by a collaborative team, and given genuine development opportunities.

The Role:

• Price materials against project budgets and drawings
• Produce and issue weekly procurement schedules to the project team
• Raise purchase orders, track deliveries and expedite with suppliers
• Track actual costs vs tender and support commercial accuracy
• Liaise with QS''s, Site Managers and stakeholders across the business

The Person:

• Buying / procurement experience within construction, joinery, fit-out or a transferable industry
• Strong Excel / Outlook skills and confident using IT systems
• Organised, detail-focused communicator able to work under pressure
