Passive Fire Protection Specialist - Heathrow - ContractA leading consultancy is seeking a Passive Fire Protection Specialist to join their Telecoms Design team at Heathrow Airport. You will integrate passive fire protection into IT in Construction projects, ensuring designs are compliant and installable.Details:Location: Heathrow (3 days per week)Contract: 12 months (initially)Rate: Up to 70/hrHours: 37.5 per weekStart: ASAPIR35: Inside IR35Key Responsibilities:Co-ordinate fire stopping elements within IT construction designs.Work with fire engineers, Building Control, and suppliers.Develop and manage BWIC processes and survey teams.Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and drive best practice.Requirements:5+ years'' experience in passive fire protection design or fire engineering.Knowledge of Building Regulations; hands-on installation experience desirable.Familiarity with fire protection products (Hilti, Quelfire, Rockwool) and fire engineering qualifications advantageous.This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile airport infrastructure projects.
