Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in fulfilment, logistics or warehouse operations?

We''re working with a successful and growing organisation that is looking for a results-driven Operations Manager to take responsibility for its Outbound Operations function. This is a hands-on leadership role where you''ll be responsible for managing a team of around 10 permanent employees, alongside agency workers during peak periods, while driving operational efficiency, service quality and continuous improvement.

The role will include:

• Leading and developing the Outbound Operations team
• Managing an annual departmental budget of approximately -600k
• Monitoring KPIs, SLAs and operational performance
• Developing and improving SOPs covering inventory, fulfilment and quality control
• Managing stock accuracy, segregation and client ownership controls
• Supporting new client onboarding, product introductions and stock transitions
• Recruiting, coaching, mentoring and managing team members
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, legislation and company policies
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service and operational performance

About you:

• Experience within a 3PL fulfilment, logistics or shared warehouse environment
• Strong understanding of inventory management, stock accuracy and client ownership controls
• Experience managing SLAs, KPIs and client performance reporting
• Proven project management experience, ideally within an operational or warehouse environment
• Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Experience of continuous improvement and process optimisation
• Confident leading, coaching and developing a team
• IOSH Level 2 or equivalent qualification
• A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to take ownership and drive operational performance
