As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will support young children with their learning, development and day to day activities, helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Experience supporting children with SEN would be ideal, although this is not the main focus of the role.Key Responsibilities: Support children with learning, play and creative activities. Encourage communication, language development and early learning skills. Support children''s social interaction, confidence and independence. Provide additional support to children with SEN and additional needs where required. Help maintain a safe, inclusive and stimulating nursery environment. Work alongside teachers, nursery practitioners and other staff to support children''s development.Requirements: Previous experience working as a Nursery Teaching Assistant or within a relevant Early Years setting is required. A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent relevant qualification. Experience supporting children with SEN or additional needs would be ideal.
