Our brand-new client based in South Lincolnshire is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to join them on a full-time permanent basis working 37.5 hours between 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

In this hands-on role, as Health & Safety Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Health & Safety department, looking after one direct report, delivering the company’s health and safety strategy, systems implementation (sourcing, development, roll-out and training), conducting site visits on projects, recommend solutions, setting realistic deadlines, conducting audits and investigations, manage all health and safety compliance, liaising with subcontractors, developing policies and procedures and much, much more.

To be considered for the role of Health & Safety Manager, it is essential that you have at least 5 years construction / shopfitting or similar related experience, a proven track record of managing H&S in an operational and practical environment, a hands-on team player who is comfortable in performing practical work, continuous improvement identifying efficiencies and delivering them (not just overseeing the process).  A strong working knowledge of CDM Regulations, NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety.  You will have experience of systems implementation, conducting site visits, audits and investigations to ensure compliance, will be self-motivated and real problem-solver.  A background in working in SME’s would be preferable and to be based within a commutable distance of the Stamford areas.  Full clean UK driving licence required.

In return to the role of Health & Safety Manager, my client is offering a starting salary up to £55,000, pension, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, on site parking, fully expensed vehicle & fuel.
