About the role:As a HR Consultant, you’ll be working directly with their clients to provide high-quality HR advice and guidance, helping them resolve complex people issues and implement robust HR practices. You’ll manage a varied workload, supporting multiple businesses with their day-to-day HR needs and strategic projects.What you’ll be doing?Providing HR advice to clients on a range of topics including employee relations, performance management, disciplinary and grievance processes, and absence managementSupporting clients with recruitment projects, onboarding processes, and contractual documentationAttending client meetings and acting as the lead HR consultant in discussionsDrafting bespoke contracts, policies, and employee handbooksConducting HR audits and producing detailed reports with recommendationsKeeping clients up to date with employment law changes and best practicesWorking closely with our operations manager and support team to deliver a seamless service

What they are looking for?Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally at consultant levelA pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skillsStrong working knowledge of UK employment lawConfidence in advising clients and managing sensitive HR issues independentlyOutstanding organisation, attention to detail and written communication skillsA proactive mindset with the ability to juggle multiple clients and prioritiesCIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) is preferential but not essentialA full UK driving licence and access to your own car for client visitsIf you thrive in a fast-paced, varied environment and enjoy making a genuine impact, we’d love to hear from you
