Job description Our client is a social housing contractor seeking an experienced Repairs Supervisor to manage and lead directly employed trade operatives. This role is covering areas in and around Enfield Role and responsibilities Support Contracts Managers to deliver high-quality repairs and maintenance. Coordinate with Schedulers to deploy operatives efficiently and keep jobs on track. Ensure repairs are delivered on time, to standard and within budget. Carry out pre- and post-inspections to ensure quality, compliance and value for money. Conduct site inspections, resolve issues and manage customer complaints. Support environmental targets and stay ahead of legislation and best practice. Monitor materials, stock, costs and operative performance against targets. Keep up to date with repairs systems, technology and industry standards. Take a proactive, flexible approach and support the wider repairs team. Requirements Supervisory or line management experience in a reactive repairs environment with directly employed operatives. Social housing experience Hands on trade experience Familiarity with mobile technology and IT systems (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to motivate staff.
