MECHANICAL ESTIMATOR // SG1 // PERMANENT

Our client is looking for a Mechanical Estimator to join their growing M&E team. This is a permanent opportunity for someone with a solid estimating background who wants to be involved in a range of mechanical and MEP projects.

You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical works, supporting the business in securing new contracts while ensuring projects remain commercially competitive and profitable. You'll be reviewing technical information, assessing project requirements and producing detailed estimates across multiple tenders.

You must have proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within M&E projects, along with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and construction processes. You’ll be comfortable interpreting technical drawings and specifications, using estimating software and Excel, and managing multiple tenders to tight deadlines. Strong communication, analytical and negotiation skills are essential.

Salary is on offer between £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience, with a long-term permanent opportunity available for the right person. 

Additionally, the role comes with flexibility, Mon-Tue in office, Wed-Fri remote working.
