Role: Head of Procurement Location: BraintreeHours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a weekSalary: £24.00 an hour, weekly pay (£50,000 per annum)Temporary position, with the opportunity to go permanent An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced Head of Procurement to join a fast-paced client based in BraintreeOur client is seeking an individual that has extensive knowledge within the Aerospace / Aviation industry and proven track record of success.Duties of Head of Procurement: Lead and implement purchasing strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.Source, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships to meet quality, price, and delivery targets.Oversee contracts, negotiations, and compliance with legal and company standards.Monitor supplier performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage procurement risks.Manage purchasing budgets, reporting, and inventory requirements across departments. What we would like from you: Previous experience in a similar role within an Aviation MRO environmentProven track record of success in procurement and supplier managementCIPS Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply (desirable)Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a willingness to learn AerotracStrong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindsetA self-starter with great attention to detail and a disciplined approachTeam player with a positive attitudeMust be a driver, with own vehicle If you are interested in
