Role: Job Coach Location: West Yorkshire Type: Permanent - Full Time Salary: 22,500 - 23,000 Eden Brown Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Job Coach to join a Further Education college in West Yorkshire This is a full time permanent role, term time only 38 weeks This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to develop their employability skills, access work placements and progress into paid employment. Working closely with learners, employers and college staff, you will provide tailored job coaching and practical support to help young people overcome barriers to employment and achieve their individual goals. Key Responsibilities: - Support young people with SEND, including learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), to access work placements and employment opportunities. - Visit learners in their workplace and provide on-the-job coaching and individualised support. - Help learners develop job search skills, employability skills and workplace confidence. - Monitor and assess learner progress, maintaining accurate records and personalised employability plans. - Work closely with employers, parents/carers and college staff to identify suitable employment opportunities. - Support learners with reasonable adjustments and help overcome barriers within the workplace. - Provide ongoing guidance to learners as they transition into paid employment. - ..... full job details .....
