Cardiff is growing faster than any other capital city in Europe and we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join Street Scene Services, in the delivery of frontline waste operations providing a high standard of service to the businesses of Cardiff. As a Supervisor, you will be provide day-to-day operational supervision and control for all areas within the scope of collection services. You will maximise all resources ensuring excellent customer services whilst maintaining the Council''s legislative responsibilities. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a large operational team and direct public contact with excellent customer service skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have good organisation skills, being able to work under pressure and meeting deadlines. You will need to be able to multi-task, take ownership of issues and be IT literate in most Microsoft packages. Working Knowledge of waste and recycling operations is important. You will be able to quickly adapt to technologies used by the service. You will need to understand and operate in line with Council Policies and Procedures. You must maintain the reputation of the Council by adopting a professional and courteous approach. Class 2 Driving License is desirable for this role.
