About the RoleA growing accountancy practice seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join their team. You will be responsible for managing payroll services for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent client service at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesProcessing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls for multiple clientsEnsuring payrolls are accurate and compliant with current legislationManaging PAYE, NIC, pension auto-enrolment, SSP, SMP, and other statutory paymentsSubmitting RTI filings to HMRC on timeHandling payroll queries from clients and employees professionally and efficientlyPreparing payslips, P60s, P45s, and other payroll reportsLiaising with HMRC and pension providers when requiredMaintaining accurate payroll records and documentationAbout YouPrevious payroll experience within an accountancy practice or bureau environmentStrong working knowledge of UK payroll legislationExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsAbility to manage multiple deadlines and client workloadsConfident communicator with a client-focused approachDesirable (but not essential)CIPP qualification or working towards oneExperience with auto-enrolment pensions across multiple providersKnowledge
