** EXCLUSIVE ROLE**

We''re recruiting on behalf of a successful Northamptonshire-based business looking to add an experienced Accounts Assistant to its finance team.

This is a varied position that would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of the purchase ledger while also getting involved in wider business administration and stock-related processes. Working closely with the Finance Director and colleagues across the business, you''ll play a key role in ensuring financial and operational activities run smoothly.

The Role

• Full ownership of the purchase ledger function
• Preparing monthly payment runs
• Managing credit card invoice reconciliation
• Reviewing delivery documentation and supporting stock administration
• Checking import documentation and investigating discrepancies
• Liaising with suppliers, warehouse teams and internal departments
• Supporting business improvement projects and general administrative activities as required

About You

• Previous Purchase Ledger or Accounts Assistant experience
• Experience working in a finance environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience using accounting software
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to support colleagues across the business
