Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of secondary schools on the Wirral.

We work closely with local schools to provide support across mainstream, SEN and alternative provisions, with a variety of opportunities available for candidates with different backgrounds and experience levels.

The Role:

• Supporting teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4.

• Working with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND.

• Helping teachers deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.

• Providing classroom, pastoral and behavioural support where required.

• Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence and independent learning.

We''re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.

• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient, adaptable and proactive approach.

• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
