An established national business is looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of its sales support operation as its B2B offering grows.

This is a new position with room to shape how things work. You''ll inherit a team of two who know the business well, then build the processes and ways of working that support the next stage of growth.

Where you''ll make a difference

As Operations Manager, you''ll keep the day to day operation moving, from initial quotes and orders through to delivery and aftercare.

Your focus will be to:

• Lead and develop the Sales Support team, setting clear priorities and expectations.
• Turn existing know-how into documented, consistent processes.
• Spot bottlenecks, reduce manual work and improve response times.
• Keep service levels on track and take ownership when issues need resolving.
• Bring teams across operations, Finance and Supply Chain together to deliver for customers.

What you''ll bring

You''ll have managed a team before and can point to processes you''ve built, improvements you''ve introduced and the difference they made.

You might currently be an Operations Manager, Operations Manager or Customer Service Manager. Experience in B2B, contracting, property services or multi-site retail would translate well.

You''ll need to be comfortable with KPIs, SLAs and systems, but equally confident coaching people and handling competing demands. This Operations Manager role needs someone who can see what needs improving and bring the team with them.
