On offer is the opportunity to join a specialist manufacturing business where you will combine your practical skills with workshop leadership, helping turn creative designs into high-quality finished products.

This company manufactures bespoke signage, illuminated displays, exhibition builds and fabricated features. Their project-driven work offers plenty of variety, combining CNC machining, laser cutting, fabrication, electrical integration and assembly.

In this role, you will work alongside the manufacturing team, coordinating the day-to-day flow of work in line with priorities set by the Production Manager. You will remain actively involved in manufacturing, from operating CNC and laser equipment to assembling displays and wiring LED lighting, drivers and power supplies.

You will also support colleagues with practical problem-solving, check quality throughout each build and carry out final testing before dispatch. This is a workshop-floor position suited to someone who enjoys picking up tools, sharing their knowledge and taking pride in the finished product.

This role would suit an experienced signage manufacturer with practical electrical skills and experience leading, supervising or mentoring others, looking to take responsibility for delivering varied bespoke projects.

The Role:

• Working hands-on to manufacture bespoke signage, displays and exhibition builds
• Leading and supporting the workshop team across machining, fabrication, electrical assembly and paint
• Operating and setting up CNC machinery and laser cutting equipment
• Integrating LED lighting, drivers, power supplies and low-voltage wiring into finished products
• Reading technical drawings and resolving manufacturing issues
• Carrying out quality checks, electrical fault-finding and pre-dispatch testing
• Supporting machinery maintenance and maintaining a safe, organised workshop
• Working on site in Newtownabbey

The Person:

• Hands on manufacturing experience
• Practical electrical or electromechanical experience, including LED systems and low-voltage wiring
• Experience with CNC machinery
