Project Manager - Data Centre Networks & Structured Cabling

Location:-Dartford (Hybrid)

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist technology infrastructure provider that delivers network infrastructure, structured cabling, and connectivity solutions into mission-critical data centre environments. With a growing portfolio of projects across the UK and Europe, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale cabling and network infrastructure installations within data centres.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business operating at the forefront of data centre technology, supporting hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise clients on complex and technically demanding projects.

As Project Manager, you will take ownership of structured cabling and network infrastructure projects within live and new-build data centre environments. You will be responsible for managing project delivery from initial planning and design coordination through to installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

Working closely with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal delivery teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of structured cabling and network infrastructure projects within data centres.
• Coordinate project activities across design, procurement, installation, testing, and handover phases.
• Manage relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations.
• Oversee site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and customers.
• Manage project risks, issues, and change control processes.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site-specific requirements.
• Support commissioning activities and final project handovers.
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain exceptional customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.

Desired Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction, structured cabling, network infrastructure, or data centre environments.
• Experience delivering structured cabling projects including copper and fibre installations.
• Understanding of data centre infrastructure and critical environments.
• Knowledge of network deployments, containment systems, and connectivity projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and reporting.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work within fast-paced and technically complex environments.
• Relevant project management qualifications would be advantageous
