Client: An established building services contractor specialising in mechanical and electrical installations across the commercial construction and fit-out sectors across London. The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects, providing a comprehensive range of building services solutions from design and installation through to testing and commissioning. Role: Senior MEP Project Manager - Central London - £400-£500 per day or PAYE equivalent

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a £10M M&E package within their own discipline, reporting into an Operations Director. Key to this role is managing the project; ensuring it is completed on time, to a high quality and within budget. 

Responsibilities:

• Tender review/validation
• Design Management (reviewing design liaising with client, main contractor and consultants)
• Procurement of subcontractors, kit and plant
• Technical submittals
• RFIs – Liaison with client team, main contractor and sub contractors
• Value Engineering where applicable
• Programming of works
• Health & Safety management (RAMs)
• Commercial Responsibility, assisting with sub contractor variation accounts working alongside project specific Quantity Survey.
• Management of variations
• Team Coordination (overseeing engineers, construction managers and supervisors)
• Progress meetings with sub contractors, client and internal meetings
• Overseeing commissioning stages
• Formulation of OM Manuals and client handover

The ideal candidate:

• Will be familiar working in a fast pace environment
• Experience working in the commercial sector
• Experience managing projects to a minimum of £5 within your own discipline
• A minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role
• Ideally the candidate will have subcontracted to main contractors such as Structure Tone, Overbury and Parkeray
