Working within our construction and facilities maintenance business, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, obtaining competitive quotations and ensuring that materials, products and services are procured efficiently and delivered in line with project requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with purchasing or buying experience who understands the importance of cost control, supplier relationships and keeping projects running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Source and procure construction materials, equipment, tools and services in line with project requirements. Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and value for money. Negotiate prices, delivery schedules and supplier terms where appropriate. Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Process purchase orders accurately and ensure orders are placed in a timely manner. Monitor order progress and chase deliveries to ensure materials arrive when required. Liaise with project managers, site teams, operations and accounts to establish purchasing requirements.
