Our client is a highly successful, family-owned business with over 20 years of established market presence supplying niche consumable products into a diverse range of industries including food manufacturing, chemicals, filtration, cosmetics, pet care, agriculture and biodiesel.

Due to continued growth and future succession planning, they are now seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Executive to join their team and drive business growth across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive sales professional looking to develop their career within a growing organisation that genuinely invests in its people and offers long-term progression into senior sales leadership.

As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities whilst developing and growing a well-established customer base.

You will work closely with the senior leadership team, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to negotiation, closing sales and ongoing account management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing new business opportunities across multiple industry sectors.
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Managing and growing existing accounts.
• Conducting market research to identify potential opportunities.
• Arranging and attending customer meetings throughout the UK.
• Delivering professional product presentations and sales proposals.
• Preparing quotations and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Responding to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
• Representing the business at exhibitions, trade events and industry shows.
• Providing regular sales reports and market feedback to management.
• Working towards and exceeding sales targets.

We are interested in speaking with motivated sales professionals who have a proven ability to generate new business and build lasting customer relationships.

You will ideally have:

• Previous B2B sales experience.
• A strong track record of winning new business.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing customer accounts.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach.
• The ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
• Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
• A full UK driving licence.

Experience within industrial products, consumables, manufacturing, distribution, chemicals, food ingredients, filtration, agricultural or related sectors would be highly advantageous.

• Basic salary circa £40,000.
