As a Sous Chef your day will be focused on the running, training and development of the team to deliver our desserts and pastries to the resort.Set up and preparation of menus items ready for food service, numbers based on hotel occupancy for the resortCooking and delivering beautifully crafted food using the best ingredients sourced from local suppliersResponsibility for running a safe and compliant kitchenRunning a section of the kitchen throughout a busy service and providing support to your teammates to ensure a fast and accurate deliveryManagement, training and developmentOpportunities to order stock, write menus alongside the kitchen managers, implement menu ideasDeputising for the Head ChefAbout you

The ideal candidate will have experience in as a Pastry Sous Chef or above and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.An inspirational leader, a quick thinker and a brilliant communicatorPassionate about fine food and working with seasonal ingredientsStandards-driven, with a fantastic eye for detailExperienced in taking ownership over your section and working towards guidelines of portion control including weights and measurements and logging all wastage for more accurate GP %Able to develop strong relationships with your team, and colleaguesProficient in understanding of COSHH and HACCP on food storage.Belfry Benefits
