Learning Support Assistant - Mainstream Primary Schools

Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (Term-Time Only)

Salary: -85-110 a day

Are you a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in children''s education? We are recruiting on behalf of a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Waltham Forest, offering long-term opportunities through our agency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils across the primary curriculum, both in class and through small group/1:1 intervention.
• Work closely with class teachers to adapt learning to meet individual needs.
• Provide support for pupils with additional learning needs, including SEN and EAL.
• Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive classroom environment.
• Contribute to the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Previous experience working with children (school, nursery, tutoring, youth work or similar).
• A passion for supporting learning and development in primary education.
• Patience, resilience, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
