In this role, you will play a key part in designing industry-leading underwater sensing, tracking, and domain awareness solutions. Working closely with cross-functional engineering and project teams, you will step into active development workflows, taking ownership of mechanical design tasks, 3D modelling, detailed drafting, and prototype part procurement to deliver mission-critical defense solutions worldwide.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deliver mechanical design solutions, 3D models, and assemblies for subsea and maritime technology.Produce, review, and validate detailed engineering drawings to BS 8888 standards with a high level of accuracy.Source prototype components and liaise directly with suppliers regarding manufacturing feasibility, lead times, and specifications.Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary engineering and project management teams throughout the full product development lifecycle.Apply fundamental engineering principles and problem-solving techniques to overcome technical challenges.Ensure all design outputs comply with stringent quality, manufacturing, and defence industry standards.About YouThe ideal candidate will have:A degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent ..... full job details .....
