Key responsibilities of the Senior IC Design Engineer job in Southampton:Define and optimise capacitive sensing architectures and acquisition strategiesDevelop and verify RTL designs using Verilog and/or SystemVerilogDevelop embedded software for sensing and signal-processing applicationsLead silicon bring-up, debugging and validation activitiesSolve complex technical challenges across analogue, digital and firmware domainsContribute to architecture decisions and system-level designCollaborate with global engineering teams to develop innovative HMI solutions Experience required for the Senior IC Design Engineer job in Southampton:Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Physics or a related disciplineExperience in digital or mixed-signal IC design and developmentStrong RTL design experience using Verilog and/or SystemVerilogEmbedded software development experience in C/C++Good understanding of microcontroller architectures and embedded systemsExperience using Python, MATLAB or similar tools for modelling and data analysisStrong problem-solving and communication skillsExperience with ARM, PIC or similar MCU platforms desirableKnowledge of capacitive touch sensing technologies desirableExposure to automotive standards such as ISO 26262 or Automotive SPICE advantageousFamiliarity with OLED or micro-LED display ..... full job details .....
