The Opportunity

As a Customer Service Consultant, you''ll be the first point of contact for customers with mortgage-related enquiries. You''ll provide guidance, reassurance and support, helping customers understand their options while ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism and care.

Whether you''re updating a customer on the progress of their mortgage application or supporting someone through a more complex situation, you''ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You''ll Be Doing

• Handling inbound calls relating to mortgage applications and existing mortgage accounts
• Keeping customers informed on the progress of their applications
• Responding to mortgage-related enquiries with confidence and professionalism
• Supporting vulnerable customers with empathy and understanding
• Accurately updating customer records and completing administrative tasks
• Building strong relationships with customers and delivering excellent service
• Ensuring compliance, accuracy and quality standards are maintained at all times

Working Hours

• 35 hours per week
• Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:00pm
• 1 in 4 Saturdays, 9:00am to 2:00pm (with time off in lieu)

Hybrid Working

Training Period (First 5-6 Weeks)

• Fully office-based in Bournemouth
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Following Training

• 2 days office-based
• 3 days working from home

What We''re Looking For

• Previous customer service experience, ideally within a telephone-based environment
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and confidence handling customer enquiries
• The ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Confidence using multiple computer systems
• A positive and resilient approach
• A genuine passion for helping customers
