Senior Aviation Claims Adjuster – Convex Insurance, London, UK.Focusing on providing excellent client service, the Convex Claims team directly impacts our mission to become the market’s favourite insurer. We are building increasingly efficient processes using relevant technology. This is a leading-edge, forward-thinking claims adjusting role handling a portfolio of Lead Airline business, together with Products, General Aviation and Satellite claims arising from business written by Convex Group.Responsibilities

Claims management from first notification of loss to final settlement including coverage analysis; investigation; evaluation; reserving and resolution in accordance with established guidelines, service standards and regulationsActively manage claims to achieve the best indemnity outcomesEnsure alignment to Convex claims key performance indicators, governance frameworks, Convex claims procedures and processesReview claims movements and advise the business with regard to potential exposuresTake responsibility for data gathering and sharing industry or event knowledge with relevant colleaguesContribute to the attraction and retention of business through service excellenceEnsure great loss outcomes and reserve accuracy through direct intervention on large loss events where required, and identification of loss trends which may impact ranking, reserves or risk selectionBuild and sustain relationships with insurance underwriters, brokers and clients and work collaboratively together in addition to liaison with actuaries and data teams internally on loss related mattersContribute to the preparation of local claims reports and claims updates to the Board as requiredBe prepared to participate in wider claims strategic initiatives or committees within the organisationBe an advocate for client service as a brand differentiator and demonstrate behaviour that align to the Convex core valuesManage or support on key Convex projects as requiredSkills, Knowledge and Expertise

Solid experience of handling Aviation Claims in several areas: Airline, Products, General Aviation or WarPrior experience of undertaking client claims reviews and audit activitiesAble to communicate effectively at all levels of seniorityExcellent client service and commitment to go the extra mileRobust negotiation and diplomacy skillsA high degree of problem-solving capabilityDetail oriented with an analytical mindsetWork at speed given complex and difficult technical situations, with the ability to prioritise effectivelyFlexible and adaptable to change, able to contribute in an entrepreneurial environmentBenefits
