Interim Payroll Officer

Salary: -35,000 per annum

Location: London (2 days a week in the office)

Contract: FTC - 6 Months

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will support the accurate and timely delivery of monthly payroll, process employee changes, administer workplace pensions, and act as a key point of contact for payroll related queries.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end monthly payroll processing
• Process starters, leavers, salary changes, statutory payments and deductions
• Maintain accurate payroll and employee records
• Administer workplace pensions and payroll related benefits
• Respond to payroll and payslip enquiries
• Support payroll reconciliations and compliance activities
• Ensure payroll processes comply with HMRC requirements and internal procedures

About You

• Previous experience in a Payroll Administrator, Payroll Officer or Payroll Assistant role
• Experience processing UK payroll
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Experience using payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of payroll legislation and pension administration
• Sage Payroll experience highly desirable
• Experience working in the charity sector
