I am currently partnered with a leading London Market business who are seeking a Senior Underwriting/Claims professional to join their growing team.

Responsibilities

Run and manage industry meetings on underwriting and claims; this includes setting agendas, taking notes, and following up on actions.

Help shape the strategy for underwriting and claims projects, working closely with senior team members and insurance professionals.

Lead projects within specific insurance areas - such as writing and reviewing policy wordings, preparing market responses to consultations, and creating briefing papers.

Do research and analysis on industry issues - including new risks, market changes, regulations, and technical challenges.

Build strong relationships with key people and organisations - like regulators, government departments, and other insurance associations to support and promote the organisation.

Answer member questions on technical or operational insurance topics.

Represent the business at industry meetings, government sessions, and conferences - either attending or speaking.

Speak on behalf of the business in the media, giving comments or interviews on technical underwriting and claims matters.

QualificationsLondon Market professional with circa 6+ years, who has a strong technical understanding of any line of business in this space.
