SEN Teaching Assistant
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in Aston across mainstream and SEN school settings, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. This SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity is ideal for a committed SEN Teaching Assistant who is confident supporting pupils with learning, communication and behavioural needs.
We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who can provide consistent, high-quality support to pupils and work effectively as part of a classroom team. This SEN Teaching Assistant role offers flexible full-time, part-time and day-to-day opportunities across a variety of school environments.

Job Requirements of a Teaching Assistant:
• Minimum 6 months experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting pupils with SEN
• Experience within a UK school setting (mainstream or SEN) as a SEN Teaching Assistant
• Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Role responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support as a SEN Teaching Assistant
• Support pupils with learning, behaviour and emotional needs as a SEN Teaching Assistant
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff as a SEN Teaching Assistant
