SEN Teaching Assistant
Smart Education is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in Handsworth across both mainstream and SEN school settings. Job Requirements of a Teaching Assistant:
• Minimum 6 months SEN experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting pupils with additional needs
• Experience within a mainstream or SEN school setting
• Enhanced Child or Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Role responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
• Provide 1:1 and small group support as a SEN Teaching Assistant
• Support pupils with learning, communication and emotional needs as a SEN Teaching Assistant
• Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff as a SEN Teaching Assistant
