SEN Teaching Assistant
Looking to recruit a compassionate and enthusiastic Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Learning Disabilities.
To start as soon as possible - Monday to Friday (Term time only)
A great opportunity for anybody with a background in care, support work, residential care or healthcare, as many skills developed in these settings are highly transferable to working in a school environment.
For the role as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant you will work closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support both in and out of the classroom. You will help the students engage with their learning, build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals. As a positive role model, you will contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment while maintaining high expectations for every learner.
Previous experience supporting children and young people with learning difficulties is desirable . Above all, we are looking for individuals who demonstrate patience, resilience, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to supporting students with additional needs.
