Overview

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and knowledgeable Corporate Tax Manager to join our growing Corporation Tax Compliance team. The role will direct work on varied portfolios of clients whilst managing the client relationship. The Corporate Tax Manager will need to be a point of knowledge for the team, review work and will take an active role in the overall development and progression of the team.Responsibilities

Direct work within corporation tax compliance on varied portfolios of clients through a team of seniors and traineesManage internal relationships to ensure work is progressing and processes are running smoothlyPlan client work with technical competency in mind, ensuring that team members are appropriately matched to clients and that team members are provided with the right level of experience to aid their progressionAssist the heads of department in putting in place departmental strategies, new initiatives and sharing technical knowledge with supervisors, seniors and traineesTake an active role in the overall development and progression of the team, yourself and BKLQualifications

Tax qualified via academic qualification (CTA/ATT) or experience. However, we are open to different backgrounds.Experienced in working in a corporation tax compliance department.Able to communicate clearly with commercial skills, building a mutual understanding with clients about how BKL can support with their tax affairs and other related mattersAble to prioritise tasks with resources in mindAble to support the team by applying strong interpersonal skills and intuitionForward-thinking and adaptableAbout the role and culture
