You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines to produce high-quality prototype and low-volume components. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced CNC Miller, CNC Turner or CNC Machinist who takes pride in precision engineering and enjoys working on one-off components and new product development.Key Responsibilities as a CNC Machinist Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines, including 3 and 4 axis machines Programme, set and operate CNC turning machines, including 2 axis lathes Manufacture prototype and low-volume components to tight tolerances Work with a variety of materials, including steels and tungsten Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications Work accurately to tight dimensional tolerances and quality requirements Inspect completed components using precision measuring equipment Carry out in-process and final inspection of machined components Support new product development (NPD) from initial concept through to completion Collaborate with engineering and design teams to develop and manufacture new components Identify and resolve machining and production issues Ensure machines, tooling and work ..... full job details .....
