Our client is seeking a driven Project Manager within the Capital department to drive major projects from concept through delivery at our clients Burton Latimer site. You will oversee planning, budgeting and resource allocation, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes that align with strategic priorities.

The role demands hands-on project leadership, strong governance, and a proactive approach to risk management, safety and compliance in a fast-paced FMCG

Qualifications

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

The Mechanical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical projects. The successful candidate will manage project timelines, resources, and budgets while ensuring that all work meets quality standards and client specifications. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure project success.

Lead and manage mechanical projects from initiation through to completion.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to define project scope and objectives.

Oversee and manage project resources, including labor and materials, ensuring they are utilized effectively and cost-efficiently.

Conduct site meetings and inspections to monitor project progress and resolve any issues that arise.

Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication.

Ensure all project work complies with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.

Identify and address project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Handle conflict resolution and problem-solving as required.

Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications Include:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical project management.
