Project Manager Industrial Unit Fit-Out Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire Day Rate: £350 £400 per day Contract: Freelance / Contract Duration: Immediate start until May 2027 Project Value: £10 million Start Date: ASAP The Opportunity We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a major industrial unit fit-out project in Bedford, with a project value of approximately £10 million. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and commercially aware Project Manager with a strong background in industrial, commercial or large-scale construction fit-out projects. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards. This is an immediate requirement, with the contract running through to May 2027. Key Responsibilities Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management and delivery of the industrial unit fit-out. Manage subcontractors, site teams, suppliers and key stakeholders. Develop, monitor and maintain project programmes, ensuring critical milestones are achieved. Oversee health and safety, quality control and site compliance. Manage project budgets, costs, variations and commercial reporting. Coordinate all fit-out activities, ensuring works are delivered efficiently and to specification.
