Welder/Fabricator urgently required to join a leading UK manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role within a specialist Production Team, where you will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of high-quality stainless steel equipment. Working in a modern engineering environment, you will play a key role in maintaining quality standards, improving manufacturing processes, and contributing to the development of specialised products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and fabricate stainless steel to specification
• Perform TIG welding and MIG welding duties on stainless steel components
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
• Ensure all products meet strict quality standards before inspection
• Support the development of improved manufacturing methods and tooling
• Assist with maintenance and upkeep of production equipment
• Contribute to the production of specialist and bespoke housing designs

Requirements:

• Proven TIG welding experience on stainless steel
• MIG welding experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working within an engineering workshop or fabrication environment
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds
• Sheet metal fabrication experience would be advantageous
