Customer Service (Food Assistant) £13.30 per hour - PAYE Full Time - 36 hours per week - Monday to Friday Based in Reading - Onsite 6 Month Contract - Immediate start Available We are looking for a Customer Service (Food Assistant) who has worked previously in a food environment (Kitchen, food preperation environments). Responsibilities: 1. Working in different laboratories as demand requires 2. Provide high quality customer service at all times by ensuring effective organisation of assigned workload, integrity of analytical data generated and timely/accurate provision of results. 3. Perform a range of basic routine analysis, product manufacturing and sample preparation under supervision of a senior member of staff. 4. Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies, such as Standard Operating Procedures. 5. Use of specified instrumentation and laboratory equipment, including calibration where required. 6. Produce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work undertaken and results. 7. Follow product formulations and methods considering standard operating procedures and food saftey to produce food products at bench scale or manufacturing. 8. Operate basic lab and manufacturing equipment as directed.
