Assistant Estates Manager (Shifts)Location: Birmingham Sector: Healthcare Facilities Management Shift Pattern: 4 On / 4 Off (Days and Nights) Hours: 7:00am - 7:00pm / 7:00pm - 7:00amThe OpportunityAn established facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Assistant Estates Manager to support the delivery of engineering maintenance services across a large and complex healthcare estate in Birmingham.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing engineering teams, ensuring statutory compliance, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance activities, and maintaining critical building services within a live healthcare environment.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the estate remains safe, compliant, and fully operational while delivering a high-quality service across a 24/7 operation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support a team of engineering professionals across a busy healthcare estate.Manage the delivery of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, HTM guidance, health and safety legislation, and contractual requirements.Monitor maintenance performance through CAFM systems and digital management tools.Manage team rotas, annual leave requests, timesheets, and day-to-day personnel matters.Respond to engineering incidents and service disruptions, acting as a first-line management escalation point.Carry out audits, inspections, and quality checks on ..... full job details .....
