Senior Geoenvironmental ConsultantManchester45,000 - 50,000We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a growing and dynamic team based in Manchester.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Geoenvironmental professional to take a leading role in delivering a variety of projects across the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors.The RoleYou will be involved in managing and delivering a range of geoenvironmental and contaminated land projects, from initial site investigation through to remediation and validation. The role will offer a good balance of office-based technical work, project management and site-based activities.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging and undertaking Phase 1 Desk Studies and Preliminary Risk Assessments.Designing and managing Phase 2 intrusive site investigations.Preparing factual and interpretative ground investigation reports.Undertaking contaminated land risk assessments.Producing remediation strategies and validation reports.Managing projects, budgets and client relationships.Supervising site investigations and monitoring works.Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior team members.Liaising with clients, regulators, contractors and other stakeholders.RequirementsA degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.Significant experience within the geoenvironmental or contaminated land sector.Strong experience in Phase 1 and Phase 2 site ..... full job details .....
