We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join a growing and dynamic team based in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Geoenvironmental professional to take a leading role in delivering a variety of projects across the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors.

You will be involved in managing and delivering a range of geoenvironmental and contaminated land projects, from initial site investigation through to remediation and validation. The role will offer a good balance of office-based technical work, project management and site-based activities.

• Managing and undertaking Phase 1 Desk Studies and Preliminary Risk Assessments.
• Designing and managing Phase 2 intrusive site investigations.
• Preparing factual and interpretative ground investigation reports.
• Undertaking contaminated land risk assessments.
• Producing remediation strategies and validation reports.
• Managing projects, budgets and client relationships.
• Supervising site investigations and monitoring works.
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring junior team members.
• Liaising with clients, regulators, contractors and other stakeholders.

• A degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience within the geoenvironmental or contaminated land sector.
• Strong experience in Phase 1 and Phase 2 site investigations.
• Experience producing high-quality technical reports.
• Knowledge of UK contaminated land legislation and guidance.
• Experience managing projects and liaising with clients.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ideally working towards or holding Chartership (CGeol, CEnv or equivalent).
