Can you bring Science to life and help pupils develop their curiosity about the world around them?

TimePlan Education is seeking a General Science Teacher for a secondary school in High Wycombe. Applications are welcomed from teachers available immediately or from January 2027.

The role involves teaching engaging Science lessons, adapting learning to different abilities and helping pupils build their knowledge and confidence across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering well-structured Science lessons.

• Using practical activities and clear explanations to develop understanding.

• Assessing progress and providing constructive feedback.

• Maintaining a safe, purposeful classroom and laboratory environment.

• Working with colleagues to support pupil achievement.

We are looking for:

• QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach General Science.

• Effective classroom management and a flexible approach.

• A commitment to inclusive teaching and safeguarding.
