RM Recruit are excited to be working in partnership with a not-for-profit organisation based in Coventry who are seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract on a term-time only basis. This role is based onsite Monday Friday with the hours set at (8am 4pm). Key Responsibilities Process invoices and purchase orders Prepare BACS runs Assist with bank reconciliations and financial reporting Raise and place purchase orders Credit card reconciliation Manage supplier queries Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers Assist with month-end and year-end procedures Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders Provide administrative support to the finance function as required Person Specification AAT Qualified or qualified by experience Previous experience in a finance or accounts assistant role Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial procedures Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel Well-organised and able to manage multiple priorities Strong communication and interpersonal skills A proactive and flexible approach to work Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Access, Sage and Xero) Benefits A supportive, inclusive, and purpose-driven work environment Generous pension scheme Parking onsite Opportunities for personal and professional development The chance to be part of a team making a real impact The successful candidate will be required to unde
